How Our

Homecare

Process Works

Finding the right homecare nurse or caregiver shouldn’t feel overwhelming. At USHealthcareNurses, we make the entire process simple, transparent, and stress-free—whether you need care now or are planning for the future.

Here's exactly what to expect:

Step 1: Tell Us What You Need

You can call us, fill out our form, or start a chat.

We take a few minutes to understand:

  • Your loved one’s condition

  • Daily support needed (bathing, meals, mobility, medication reminders, etc.)

  • Nursing needs (LPN/RN visits, wound care, medication management)

  • Your preferred schedule (full-time, part-time, 24/7, live-in)

  • Your location in Georgia or South Carolina

  • Your funding option: Medicaid • CLTC • VA • Private Pay

This helps us determine the best care plan and eligibility for programs in your state.

Step 2: We Verify your Program Eligibility

If you’re using Medicaid, CLTC (SC), VA Community Care, or CCSP/SOURCE (GA), we guide you through:

  • Eligibility requirements

  • Required documentation

  • Case manager coordination

  • Home assessment steps

  • Enrollment or approval timelines

If you're private pay, we simply review needs and proceed without delays.

Step 3: We Match You With Qualified Caregivers or Nurse

Based on your needs, we recommend vetted, background-checked caregivers or licensed LPNs/RNs from our trusted network.

Each match is screened for:

  • Location convenience

  • Experience with your condition

  • Personality compatibility

  • Skills (dementia care, mobility support, skilled nursing, etc.)

  • Schedule availability

Most families receive caregiver options within 24–72 hours.

Step 4: Meet Your Caregiver

You choose your caregiver—no pressure, no commitment until you’re comfortable.

We arrange:

  • A meet-and-greet (phone or in-person)

  • Q&A about routines and expectations

  • Review of care tasks and schedule

You are in full control of who enters your home.

Step 6: Ongoing Support & Monitoring

Your care doesn’t stop after placement. We offer:

  • Regular check-ins

  • Replacement caregivers if needed

  • Fast schedule adjustments

  • Communication with case managers (Medicaid, CLTC, VA)

  • Support for any concerns or changes in your loved one’s condition

Families trust us because we stay involved—not just match and disappear.
